Flames Shooting Out Of Chardonnay Apartments In Springfield

Flames are shooting through a building at the Chardonnay Apartments on east Montclair in Springfield. Initial reports from the scene are that the fire started in a breezeway and worked its way up through the roof. One whole building is engulfed in flames, and witnesses on scene say the fire has spread to another building.
Fire crews are on the scene making sure everyone has been evacuated and attacking the fire. Ffire engines from Battlefield and Logan Rogersville have been brought to the scene.
