EPA Fast Tracks Cleanup At Contaminated Wells In Rogersville
The EPA has put a contaminated well in Rogersville on its priority list of cleanup projects.
In 2010, testing at a public well at the Compass Plaza strip mall found a chemical called TCE. It's found in things like industrial cleaners.
Investigators aren't yet sure how TCE got into those wells, or where it came from. The city's Municipal wells are not contaminated.
