(AP) - FOXSports DOT com is reporting the Washington Redskins have a deal in place to acquire the Number 2 overall pick in the NFL draft to select Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin the Third.

Under the deal reported by FOXSports and ESPN, the Redskins and St. Louis Rams will swap first-round selections this year.  The Rams also will receive multiple future first-round draft picks and other
selections.

ESPN DOT com reported St. Louis will receive Washington's first and second-round picks this year, and the Redskins' first-round picks in 2013 and 2014.

The trade moves the Redskins up four places from sixth in the April draft, leapfrogging any other team that would have an interest in the Heisman Trophy winner.

The Indianapolis Colts are expected to take Andrew Luck with the Number One pick after releasing former franchise quarterback Peyton Manning this week.
