Greenleaf Owner Pleads Guilty To Fraud
Prison time for a man who pleads guilty to defrauding home buyers.
Eric Gagnepain, a co-owner of the Greenleaf real estate company, faces up to ten years behind bars after admitting to his role in the securities fraud case in Springfield.
The Attorney General says Gagnepain was in charge of getting investors to buy new homes, but he didn't tell them the company had financial problems and that the homes faced foreclosure.
Four others connected to Greenleaf are awaiting trial.
