Will Congress Issue Coins To Remember Mark Twain?
(AP) - Officials in Mark Twain's hometown are hoping Congress will approve limited issue silver and gold coins honoring the legendary author and humorist.
The federal legislation calls for a commemorative coin in 2016.
If it's approved, the coin could be a big boost for tourism in Hannibal - the town which was the inspiration for some of Twain's greatest works.
