Woman From Central Arkansas Dies In House Fire
(AP) - Firefighters are investigating the cause of a blaze that killed a woman at her home in Little Rock.
Officials say crews responded to a report of a fire just after 5 a.m. Saturday. Capt. Jason Weaver says everyone in the residence was able to escape except the woman, whose bedroom was near the kitchen.
Weaver says the heat and smoke could have prevented her from getting out.
Investigators say the blaze doesn't appear to be suspicious.
Fire officials haven't released the name of the victim.
