The MSU Lady Bears jumped out to a 12 point lead but go into the locker room at halftime with a slim 45-41 advantage over Indiana State at JQH Arena.
Jaleshia Roberson, who's connected on three of six attempts from beyond the three point line, has ten points to lead MSU in scoring. Christiana Shorter has eight, Karly Buer seven, with Casey Garrison and Desiree Phillips scoring six points each.
Indiana State's Deja Mattox has put on a scoring show, connecting on six of seven three point attempts and finishing the half with 20 points.
The Lady Bears come into tonight's game with an overall record of 11-6, 4-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Sycamores are 10-9, 4-3.
