(AP) - No suspects have been identified in the deaths of a mother and son and a family friend in a central Kansas City home.

Police say the bodies of the three victims were found Monday.

They were identified as 62-year-old Donna M. Pike; her son, 41-year-old Herschel Pike, and 57-year-old Edward Williams.

Police have not said how the three victims died but they are investigating the case as a triple homicide.

The Pikes lived at the home where the deaths occurred and Williams often helped people in the neighborhood with their cars.

Police first found Williams' body next to a car outside the home.

After no one answered the door, police obtained a search warrant and found the Pikes' bodies inside the house.
