Koster Wants Cell Phones On No-Call List
(MissouriNET) - The state's top attorney says telemarketers should not be able to call people's cell phones.
Attorney General Chris Koster says he's been trying to get lawmakers to pass something that would allow cell phones to be added to Missouri's no-call list, but they haven't.
He says it's not fair for people to pay for minutes on their phones that then get wasted on telemarketers.
Koster doesn't know if text messages could be included in the law, but he acknowledges it would be up to lawmakers to decide that.
