(AP) - A Fayetteville High School senior who made the highest score possible on the ACT college entrance exam credits her success to being a perfectionist.

Macy Manning says she spent four hours on the day before the exam to go through a practice test, and spent extra time on the questions she missed.

A perfect score is 36. Manning said she made a 34 when she took the test previously.

Another Fayetteville student, Katherine Gea, made a perfect score last year as a junior.

During the September test, 704 students scored perfectly out of the 1.6 million who took the exam.
