Barry County Voters Say No To Higher Taxes
Voters in Barry County have said no to a pair of sales tax increases.
A 3/16 of a cent sales tax would have generated about $650,000 for the sheriff and prosecutor.
An eighth of a cent hike would have provided funds for the 911 center.
Both issues failed by five percent margins.
