It started from a tip last night and officers worked all night at a house on Meadowlark gathering it all up. Nixa Police Chief James Bacon tells KTTS News officers found several pounds of packaged marijuana, eight guns , 23-thousand dollars in cash and 13 mature pot plants. One of those plants was nine feet tall and planted in the backyard.
One man was arrested and the chief says that he doesn't anticipate any more arrests. The charges could go federal with two day care centers and a preschool sitting nearby.
