Little Rock Trying To Get Out From Under Deseg Order
A federal appeals court in St. Louis is hearing arguments in a case involving the future of school desegregation funding in Arkansas.
In May, a federal judge ordered an end to most of the payments, but an appeals court stayed the ruling in advance of today's hearing.
Governor Mike Beebe and state lawmakers want to end $70 million a year given to the Little Rock, North Little Rock and Pulaski County School districts.
