Another step in recovering from the tornado that hit Joplin in May will take place when Missouri's governor announces playgrounds will be rebuilt.

Governor Nixon's office says the playgrounds will be for families who are living in temporary FEMA housing.  He'll make  his announcement at the Jeff Taylor Memorial Mobile Home Park.

The playground will be built with money from the Missouri Department of Economic Development and the DNR.  The state is also going to help rebuild playgrounds for kids in Duquesne, and Jasper and Newton Counties.
