Police in Springfield are keeping close watch on a suspect in the Kristi Kimes case. That's the woman whose body was found inside a car in the Taco Bell parking lot at Chestnut and West Bypass with her throat cut.
Officers say the suspect is in the hospital due to an undisclosed illness. He's under police observation, but has not been charged or arrested.
