JACKSON, Mo. (AP) - Missouri officials have authorized about $852,000 in incentives to help a manufacturing company in the southeast with a planned expansion.
Nordenia USA makes flexible packaging for consumer goods, such as the overwrap for tissue and paper towels. The company plans to expand its existing plant in Jackson and build a new, 180,000-square foot facility. Nordenia also plans to add 50 employees to its current workforce of 400.
Gov. Jay Nixon visited the company to announce the incentives, which include tax credits for job creation and a community development block grant.
