Authorities are working as fast as they can to positively identify two bodies found in Taney County in a wooded area accessible pretty much only by ATV. Relatives believe Rusty and Becky Porter, from Willard have been found off Protem-Cedar Creek Road. Taney County Sheriff Jimmie Russell tells KTTS  the Porter family and the landowner have no connection to each other or the land where the skeletal remains have been found.  Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott says no suspects are in custody.

Tips starting coming in as soon as the Porters vanished in April.  Right now Greene County is still working the missing persons case, and Taney County  is is in charge of handling the remains, and investigators will work backwards to see where they meet up with the story of the Porters.
