Heat Advisory Continues Through Tuesday Evening

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department would like to remind the community that the National Weather Service has issued a continued heat advisory lasting through Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Fifty-two heat related illnesses have been reported to the Springfield-Greene County Health Department. Cooling centers continue to remain open during normal business hours:
· American Red Cross, 1545 N West Bypass
· Salvation Army, 1707 W Chestnut Expressway (8:30 am — 4:30 pm)
· YMCA, 1901 E Republic Street
· YMCA, 417 S Jefferson
· Select Park locations listed here
