Blunt Says Master Plan Can Be Reworked
With the massive flooding this year, not only in Missouri, but in northern states like Iowa, Montana and the Dakotas, Missouri Senator Roy Blunt says there's no better time than now to rework the Army Corps of Engineers master plan for flood control.
Blunt says because of the unprecedented flooding, states that have always fought for more water in their reservoirs for such things as electrical power, conservation and recreation are now on the same page.
Blunt says the Corps does good work, they're just working with an outdated plan.
