Temporary Hospital Opens In Shadow Of Damaged Medical Center
Patients are now being seen by staff from St. John's Regional Medical Center, a week after their building was hit by the deadly tornado that landed in Joplin.
Doctors say a temporary hospital has been set up across the parking lot, giving them nearly everything they had within St. John's - just on a smaller scale. That includes an ER, surgical suites, MRI and CT scan capability, and 60 inpatient beds.
