(AP) -Missouri knocked Nebraska out of contention for the Big 12 baseball tournament with a 10-5 come-from-behind victory yesterday in Lincoln.
The Tigers (24-28, 11-13 Big 12) loaded the bases against Nebraska closer Casey Hauptman (6-3) in the ninth inning before running away with it.
Nebraska (28-25, 7-17) had led 4-2 in the top of the eighth, but Missouri rallied for three runs with two outs to go up 5-4. Bryan Peters' bases-loaded single in the bottom half tied it for Nebraska before Mizzou's ninth-inning surge.
Phil McCormick (7-2) earned the win in relief for the Tigers, allowing one run in two innings.
