(AP) - Three seniors at Troy Buchanan High School in eastern Missouri are facing felony charges after a senior prank caused extensive damage to the school.

School officials arrived on the morning of May 6 to find that someone had constructed a make-shift swimming pool inside the high school's commons and filled it with water. The pranksters left the
water running, causing damage estimated at $15,000.

The students have not been named, but the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says they are charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Governor Nixon spoke at the graduation ceremonies Sunday at the school in Troy, about 50 miles north of St. Louis.
