The Festival Of Lights will kick off in Springfield tonight with the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Jordan Valley Park. A spokesman says it will be followed by a kids' parade leading to the Cardinals' stadium where Santa Claus will make his debut. More activities are planned including a fireworks display and also free ice skating at the Mediacom Ice Park. The tree lighting is at 5:15.
