The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Flash Flood Watch for all of Southwest Missouri from late Wednesday night through late Thursday night. Forecasters say what's left of Hermine will bring as much as 3"-5" of rainfall, which will make already saturated areas susceptible to more flooding. Locally, observers are keeping close tabs on Fassnight and Jordan Creeks and the James River. Hermine is blamed for two flood-related deaths in Texas, as well as a series of tornadoes.
