Teen Will Now Be Listed As Missing

Springfield Police are hoping that a 14-year-old boy will eventually cool down and come back home. In the meantime, the search for the teen, who was armed with a knife has been called off. For a few hours this morning a perimeter had been set up around the 2700 block of South Luster after he ran away from police who showed up after the teen had made threats to his mother. Luster meets up with Claiborne and Barataria in the Brentwood neighborhood, across from Battlefield Mall.
