Fire Chief Hit by Car

He was out working a boot block, collecting money for MDA when he was struck by a car Sunday. Carl Junction Fire Chief Bill Dunn is recovering at St. John's Hospital in Joplin. Shift Supervisor Joe Perkins tells KTTS News that the driver did not see the chief near Stone's Corner in Joplin and made a left turn, hitting Dunn.  The chief suffered only minor injuries and should be released from the hospital this morning.
