Water Rescue in Southeast Springfield

Wednesday, September 01, 2010

A young man was assisted by the Springfield Water Rescue Team after his car was stopped by flood waters on Farm Roads 193 and 194 near Crighton Pass in Southeast Springfield.  Logan-Rogersville Fire Chief Richard Stirts says the man driving  the car saw the barricade on the side of the road but went ahead  down the road and then got his car stuck in the roadway because of the high water.  Stirts says the man was able to walk away after water rescue got him out of the car.
