New Record Rainfall In Springfield

Wednesday, September 01, 2010

Springfield has set a new record daily rainfall amount.  The old record for today was 2.47 inches.  At noon today, it was at 2.87 inches, with rain still falling.  The weather service says some areas have received between 3 and 5 inches, with the heaviest rain falling between Galena, Springfield, Rogersville, Bolivar, Stockton, and Nevada.  Roads are flooded out across the Ozarks.  Listen to KTTS 94.7 FM for complete traffic updates.
