I’ve been a member of the KTTS News Team since 1995, and have been news director since 2004. Honors include best newscast and spot news awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and Associated Press Broadcasters. I’m a past president of the Missouri AP Broadcasters Board and current member of the Radio and Television News Directors Association.
My greatest responsibility at KTTS is coordinating our Storm Team coverage and deciding when to activate the mobile units as severe weather moves into the Ozarks.
I’m a 1987 graduate of Marshfield High School (Go Jays!!) and got my bachelor’s degree from the University Of Missouri School Of Journalism. I worked at a group of radio stations in Farmington, Missouri for four years before coming to KTTS.
I’ve been married to Christine Louzader for 11 years. She also works in radio. In my free time, I love going to St. Louis and Springfield Cardinals baseball games and going to movies with my wife.

I have a passion for news and have worked at KTTS for 13 years. I love knowing the news FIRST and then letting the Ozarks in on the big secret.
As if chasing the latest story or a May tornado isn’t enough, I’m first a mom and wife. I live in Nixa with my husband Brian and have two little kids who keep me very busy.
I have won many awards including several from the Associated Press, some “Best Newscast” awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and Edward R. Murrow Awards for Best Newscast, Writing, and I played a big role in winning Overall Excellence. I have also won a Murrow for a story I did after taking a ride in a Highway Patrol helicopter. (We were looking for pot and we didn’t find any!) That award was for a Hard News Feature.
Besides spending most of my free time with my family, I’m also a member of Nixa Tae Kwon Do. My son and I are both black-belts.

I’m Jason Rima, and I’ve been an Anchor/Reporter for KTTS News since December 1997. I’m also the morning Go-Patrol reporter, doing traffic reports for both KTTS and KY3. I’m also the New Media Coordinator for KTTS News online. Since coming to KTTS, I’ve won numerous awards from the Associated Press and Missouri Broadcasters Association, including Story of the Year.
I grew up in Shell Knob, working at my parent’s grocery store, and went to Cassville High School. I’ve been with KTTS since graduating from Drury University in 1997.
In my spare time, I enjoy all kinds of sports, movies, and woodworking. I’m also a member of Glendale Christian Church in Springfield.

I grew up on a wheat farm, in Kansas, with my parents and three brothers. I’ve spent many hours in the fields driving a combine as a teen. During these hours I enjoyed listening to music, news, and weather on the radio and that is how I got interested in the media.
After working two years on a television camera crew, I began my career in radio. I’ve held various positions in the radio broadcast industry for 35 years as a DJ; Radio Talk Show Host, and News Director. Now I enjoy being part of the KTTS 24-hour News Team!

I’m originally from Arlington, TX. I graduated 1993 Evangel College B.A. (Communications, Criminal Justice Minor).
I have 3 children: Joseph, Coral, and Ariana. I’m very involved with children’s activities including my son, who is in Boy Scouts and with the girls’ soccer. I enjoy sporting events attending and watching. I’m a Dallas Cowboy fan in Chiefs country.
Worked in the Springfield for last 13 ½ yrs. Previously, I have done news reporting and sky patrol traffic reports.
I’m a native Ohioan, graduate of Bowling Green State University, major: Political Science, minor: Journalism. I have two sons, (one resides in Ohio, the other in Florida). I’m a Military veteran; I’ve been in news business (journalism) for about 30 years.
In my spare time, I love to travel, horses, water, meeting new people, poker player, and animal lover. I have two cats (Pepper & Popcorn) love my new home, learning more about Missouri.
I was raised on a beef farm in central Missouri. Okay, more like in a house on the farm but you catch my drift. I moved to Springfield after high school and worked various jobs from delivering pizza to selling guitars. I got married to my beautiful wife Janae, whom I met here, then moved to the Detroit area for a couple of years before relocating back to the Ozarks.
I decided to pursue an interest in broadcasting at a Detroit area school dedicated to just that. The news bug bit me while at the school and I was interning for the area's news powerhouse, WWJ. When my internship ended I kept coming in so they decided to start paying me, and I spent over a year learning the ins and outs of a major market newsroom. That's a little of what I bring to the KTTS news team, which I joined in December of 2009.
My wife and I live in Springfield with our son and three cats. In my spare time I enjoy helping out at Glendale Christian Church (where my wife and I are members), tinkering around with my bass guitar, listening to music, watching movies, drinking coffee, playing Wii, and annoying people with random things I know. I usually try to find humor in every situation life has to offer - which has lead to scowling glances from many and outright verbal reprimands from others. I don't mean to offend, I just like to laugh.

I've spent the last 25 years working in the Ozarks doing broadcast news. In 1994 I worked for the KTTS Radio Ranch!
I enjoy going to movies and visiting historical sites. I also have an assortment of pets. I especially love my 17 year-old rag doll cat, Phuzz. She was the runt of the litter & no one wanted her; she's a non-stop talker.
