Woofstock 2017


The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri and E.W. Scripps are coming together for the 2nd Annual Woofstock presented by Dixie Stampede, Springfield’s grooviest pet adoption event, scheduled for Saturday, May 6th in downtown Springfield. Woofstock is FREE!

Kick off the morning with The Humane Society of SWMO at the 2nd Annual Mutt March. Leash your pet and strut your stuff downtown Springfield. Click here for information and to register you and your pet for the Mutt March. All proceeds from the Mutt March entry fee will go towards helping the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri house pets until they find forever homes.

Bring your pet to a fun day at Woofstock! Activities include:

•Adoptable pets from animal rescue organizations and shelters.

•Pet contests (Best Dressed, Best Trick, Cutest Puppy).

•Pet related vendors and family friendly businesses.

•Food Trucks.

•Puppy run/play area.

•Live music featuring Isaac Kenneth, Hometown Tourist, Amanda Hughey and Ivy Schulte & Bad Blood

•Silent Auction

Fun activities scheduled all day long on the main stage thanks to Spring Valley Veterinary Hospital.


Attendees are invited to bring their own leashed pets to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, music, and food—all in a pet-friendly atmosphere.
