    I LOVE fish- especially fried and it doesn't matter what kind. Pollack, Cod and Sole and even Salmon at times are not only good for you but are DELISH! However I don't care for fish with parasites.

  • It's not too early to plant potatoes!

    Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and I remember my husbands grandfather Pop, used to tell me to plant potatoes on that date, but NEVER earlier. Pop used to say the heaviest of winter would be over by then and that the plants would be able to survive in the frozen earth until things slowly warmed up.

    And ....... We are off !!!! The KTTS St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radio-thon is now underway thru Friday March 14.

    I am still shaking after seeing this video. The terror those on the ground, not to mention the pilot. This brings tears to my eyes of how terrifying this situation was, but wasn't. OMG!!!

    I don't believe I have ever heard the National Anthem so beautiful. This little girl nails it! What a talent! The girl is only 16 years old, she is autistic and blind. Her voice is that of an angel. (Hugs)) Summa

  • Eli Young Band's new song "Dust"

    Check out the new Eli Young Band song "Dust." These guys from Texas have been together for about 14 years and have 3 number one hits. Both Rick and I met them in Memphis this year while at St. Jude Children Research Hospital. Fun guys, sweet guys and another hit on their hands with "Dust"... Their new CD Ten Thousands Towns came out this week. Buy it!

  • Time Change on Sunday!!!

    Wow, all of a sudden March is here and it's BIG changes! Big, BIG changes when it comes to the time. This Sunday you have to spring forward one hour. Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00 am on Sunday March 9. That means set your clocks a head 1 hour.

  • Snow day for the kiddos!

    Be careful as you drive to work and to the store. A nice layer of ice under the snow will have you skidding out of control before you know it.

    You know you are a BIG celeb when a random guy from a random city in the U.S. asks you to the Prom. This is exactly what happened to Gracie Gold. I must admit this kid asked her in a personal and unique way. Check out his video. BTW- Gracie hasn't responded but she did mention him on Twitter. {{hugs}} Summa

    We had tons of guys dressed up as gals, and I must say they are all FANTASTIC! It's a good thing I wasn't a judge because it would be impossible for me to decide. One picture had be rolling. It's a picture of this Girl- Guy who made me very uncomfortable because "SHE" kept looking at me like this. What do you think? HAHAHAHAHAH {{Hugs}} Summa
