FRIDAY

Mid-America Street Rod Nationals 9 am to 5pm. May 23-24 and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Ticket prices vary

Teen Friday Nights at the Library Station on N. Kansas Expressway in the Santa Fe Room. Free for kids grades 6-12 it begins at 6pm

Little Acorns, Bigmouth Bullfrogs. at the Springfield Nature Center. Learn the life changes of frogs. for kids ages 3-5.  FREE

SATURDAY

 Big Brentwood Playday begins at 10 am until noon at the Brentwood Library.  Kids can explore a variety of sensory, creative, and gross motor skills plus reading activities. FREE

Arts in the Park- Wilson Creek National Battlefield begins at 7pm. FREE

"Dare to Sweat 5 K Run/Walk" begins at Carver Middle School at 8 am. Proceeds benefit the Greene County Dare Program

SUNDAY

Dickerson Park Zoo now has summer hours. Open 9 am to 5 pm Daily

MONDAY

Springfield National Cemetery Memorial Day program. Music begins at 10 am with the Memorial Service at 11 am at 1702 E. Seminole its FREE
