Weekend Update for Marych 21-23

Spring has sprung and there is always fun in the Ozarks. Here is this weekends list compiled for you and the family.


The PCRA Rodeo is in town at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Tickets are available at the door. The Rodeo runs through Saturday 10 am to 4pm.

Newport Jazz Festival at Hammons Hall begins at 7:30. Tickets are $25 dollars.

"Horse-fest" at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds runs Friday thru Sunday .


Big Play Day at Brentwood Library begins at 10 am utnil noon. Kids birth thru age 6 are invited. The event is FREE

Lily Bulb Sale is at 8 am at the Springfield Botanical Center 2400 S. Scenic. All ages are welcome. It's FREE

Pitter Pat 5k/10k/1 Mile race begins at the Oreilly Family Event Center at 10 am. (

Learn how to raise chickens at the Library Station. The FREE event begins at 2pm at 2535 N. Kansas Expressway.

Safe and Sound Saturday will be held at the Springfield Expo Center. The FREE event begins for kids and parents at 9am until 4pm.

Superhero's for Hope is a 5 K run that begins on Jackson Street Park in Willard at 7:30.

Family Treasure Hunting 1-3 at the Nature Center. Learn Geo-caching. Ages 8 and older are invited. It's FREE but registration is required 888-4237
