Weekend Update for October 25-27 2013

I can't believe that October is almost over! Where did the month go? Before you know it the snow will be flying and there will be Christmas carols on the radio!  Here is a list of some fun stuff for you and the kiddo's this weekend- just go ahead and print it off.- Stay safe- Summer


City Hall Haunt from 6-8 at the Battlefield City Hall on Tower Drive. It's FREE

Ghost Tours at Pythian Castle begins at 8 pm and 10 pm Cost is $15 dollar

Halloween Night at the Museum, Discovery Center from 6:30 until 9:30 Cost is 10 dollars.

Monster Mash Storytime at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library. The Free event begins at 10 am.


Antique Festival at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds from 9am to 5pm Admission is $5.00

Hike and Float for Families at the Springfield Conservation Center. The hike begins at 1 then a float afterwards. It's for kids ages 12 and older and its FREE

Thriller on C -Street between Booneville and Roberson. The Family show is at 4:30 with a PG rated show at 7:30 it's FREE

Zombie Rock 4 Kids Run begins at Bass Pro with a 9:15 registration and 10:30 race. Entry Fee is $18 dollars.

Making Strides against Breast Cancer. Registration at 8 am and the walk at Jordan Valley Park begins at 9am. ( 881-4668)

Dutch Oven Cooking Clinic at Ritter Springs park is for kids ages 11 and older. Class begins at 10am with a $15 dollar fee.

Pumpkin Dash 5k Run/Walk in Republic on Miller Road. The run begins at 7:30 am! Register at 299-5533.
