Weekend Update for Oct. 18-20

What a great weekend in store for us!  Have you noticed the trees? Lots of color starting to start- the walnut trees are dropping their nuts, and everyone is preparing for winter.  Here are some fun stuff for you to enjoy with the kids this weekend...



Chadwick is hosting a Haunted House and Hayride on Friday and Saturday nights each weekend thru Halloween its open 7 pm until midnight.

Hauntings and Happenings thru downtown Springfield. This historic tour begins at 5:30, 7pm and 8:30 on both Friday and Saturday. The one hour tour will feature the Springfield Cemetery, and locations of the mass Civil War graves plus hear about haunted buildings around Springfield. Tickets are 10 dollars Reservations?  831-1976

WIldheart in Concert at the Nature Center. The FREE concert is open to all ages from 5:30 to 6:30 Registration is required 888-4237



MSU Bears Homecoming! The parade begins at  9 Am on the John Q Hammons Parkway and travels south to Madison Street.

Bowling Strikes to benefit Champion Athletes of the Ozarks Registration at the Battlefield Lanes begins at 12:30 with play at 1pm. Free is 25 dollars or 125 per team.

Family Treasure Hunting at the Nature Center begins at 1 until 3pm.  Free and registration is required.

Dickerson Park Zoo's "ZOO Spooktacular" gets underway and runs thru Halloween. Get discounted tickets at McDonald's.

Wine and Food Celebration to benefit the Ozark Public Television begins at the White River Conference room at Bass Pro. The fun begins at 2pm and tickets are 40 bucks at the door.


Keith Urban at the Q Arena. Tickets are still available also enjoy Little Big Town, and Dustin Lynch. Call 836-7678.
