Schools in session, kids are busy and you want to know what to do this weekend. Here is a quick snippet of outdoor fun for the entire family.  Have a fabulous weekend!


Cocktails Law party and Silent Auction at he Historic Firehouse on E. Commercial. Wear your willies or garden boots and enjoy the hor'doeuvres made from locally grown produce and wind and beer from Mother's Brewing Co. Tickets are $50 bucks and benefits the Springfield Urban Ag Coalition.  Info?

Join Rick and Summer at White Water from 4pm to 6pm!!!

Springfield Cardinals VS Northwest Arkansas Naturals - First Pitch is 7:09 at Hammons Field

West Central Neighborhood Night Out 6-8 pm Enjoy the 1200 block of West State Street. Free food, inflatables, face painting, balloon animals and more- FREE


Join Rick and Summer at Silver Dollar City 10am to noon!!! Southern Gospel Picnic!

Back to School Bash at the Discovery Center 10am to 2pm at 438 St. Louis Street.  Carnival games, and lots of fun. Bring in  new school supplies and receive a buy one get one free admission. School supplies benefit the Salvation Army

Bat Cave Awareness at Sequiota Cave 11am to 7pm its FREE and open to all ages.

Medical Mile Walk and Celebration Kick off is 8:30 am at the soccer field at National and Montclair Streets.  Games, activities, health booths, and cooking demonstrations.


Metropolitan Bridal Show 11am to 4pm at the Springfield Expo Center. Admission is $5.00
