Here is your Friday weekend update!!  Have a fabulous weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Summer


FRIDAY

First Friday Art walk- a self guided art gallery tour 6-10 pm. Exhibits remain at Galleries thru the month in downtown Springfield it's FREE

Garden tasting party 4-6 pm at the Brentwood Branch library. Sample the veggies grown in the library's garden its FREE and for all ages.

Movies at Founders park "The Odd Life of Timothy Green!"  It's Rated PG and starts at dusk Saturday's Show is "The Avengers" its Raged PG13 and it too starts after Dusk.  Get Free tickets at the Chesterfield, Doling, and Kinney Family Centers or the Ice Park. Otherwise cost is $5.00 dollars at the gate.

Teen Friday Night 6-8 pm at the library Station 2535 N. Kansas Expressway . Kids in grades 6 thru 12 can stop in for games crafts and special events.

SATURDAY

KTTS TRUCK AND TRACTOR Pull at the Ozark Empire Fair!  A portion of each ticket goes to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital. Gates open at 5:30- the pull starts at 6pm.  

Bike Rally is is Aug 3 and 4 at the American Legion Post 2660 S. Scenic Avenue. Includes breakfast , vendors and games. Live music and a tattoo contest

The C-Street Market 7:30 to 1pm at Commercial Street. The Market runs each Saturday thru Oct. 19

Giboney Cave Tours 11am to 4:30 pm at the Doling park at 301 Talmage. Ages 6 and older are welcome on the Walking Tour. Cost is $3 dollars per person or $10 bucks for a family of 4. (883-8647)

Tour DE Cox Bike Ride begins at 6:30 AM.  You can choose between 26,43, or 62 mile rides. Registration is $15 dollars - Register at COXHEALTH.COM
