So much to do on the Fourth of July. Here is a quick, rundown on what may appeal to you and your family.
Let's start with Springfield...
"Fireworks on the Field" starts at 3pm at Hammons Field. This Free event includes ice skating, inflatables and music. Tickets are still available for the Springfield Cardinals game that starts at 5:09 followed by live music and a fireworks display at 9:45.
Fordland has a 4th of July Parade and fireworks. The parade begins at 5 pm on Main streets. It's Free
Midtown Neighborhood's Old Fashion 4th of July Parade and Celebration begins at 10 am and ends at Washington Park in Springfield. Free ice cream, hot dogs and hamburgers.
Holister's 4th of July Celebration begins at dusk just off of Historic Downing Street. It's Free
Monett's Freedom and Fireworks Celebration begins at dusk with activities through the day at Monett South park. It's Free
Marshfield Independence Day Rodeo, Fireworks and parade. The Parade runs thru the square at 10 am with fireworks at dusk. It's Free. The Rodeo will feature bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding . Tickets are still available.
Shell Knobs Fire and Thunder Fireworks Display over Table Rock lake begins at 9:30. One mile east of Shell Knob Bridge. Free
Fourth of July Celebration at Chateau on the Lake features live music and fireworks at dusk\
Christian County Fair is held at the Finley River park. It's open 9am to 11 pm. Enjoy the rodeo in the grand arena.
Fireworks display at Sunrise Beach at the bear Bottom Resort it starts at dusk.
