HBA Parade of Homes 1-6 on June 21-23 and 28-30.  Free maps for the free event can be found on

Sounds on the Square begin at 7 pm at Park Central Square its FREE

Springfield Cardinals VS Arkansas Travelers. First Pitch is 7:09 at Hammons Field


Art Gone Wild at the Dickerson Park Zoo.  The fun begins at 10 am to 2 pm. Hands on art activities for kids 12 and younger. General Admission applies

Canoe Basics for Women starts at 8am to 10 am. at the Southwood Access on Lake Springfield. Girls 14-17 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult female. It's Free but you have to register call 888-42237.

"Jurassic Park" Movie Marathon at the Springfield Midtown Carnegie Branch location. Catch the movie at 10am to 4pm. The event is FREE and is rated  PG13 and is open for kids 7 to 12.

O"reilly Auto Parts Ozark Four Wheel Jamboree National. Gates open at 7- 5:30 today and 9 to 3:30 on Sunday at the Fairgrounds.

Run for REDiness 5 K and March for Military 8 to 11:30 at Cox North Fitness on North Jefferson. Registration is required but it's free for Military members ( 832-9500)

Back Packing Cooking Clinic at Valley Water Mill  Park 11 am to 1pm. Ages 11 and older cost is $15 for two.


Tim MCGraw, Brantly Gilbert at Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater. Tickets are available. The concert begins at 7pm.
