I didn't realize how much I missed being around little kids, until yesterday!
I had an absolute ball at Halfway Elementary in Halfway, Missouri. Those kids were a hoot! Some of the questions they asked about radio were hilarious. One question reminded me of my own kids when they asked if I sang all the songs on the radio. I told them no, and they should be glad I don't sing since I can't carry a tune. The kids in grades Kindergarten thru Sixth grade were just SO PRECIOUS!!!!s.
It was so much fun watching their little minds absorb what I was saying and if it didn't compute of course those hands would go in the air and more rapid fire questions would ensue.
I so want to thank everyone who participated yesterday at the Career Day in Halfway. Missouri. Hats off to Matt part of the 203rd of The National Guard, Hales Fireworks, Shelter Insurance, and the Polk County Sheriff.
I love to be part of stuff in our community. If you ever need me, just ask- especially if kids are involved.
