Today is the day Officer Zach Kral comes back from Kuwait! I have known Zach since he was 5 years old when he and his twin sister Brittany and their parents Steve and Diana came to the Ozarks from Texas. It's hard to believe Zach will soon be 27 and has served overseas. What an accomplishment!
Zach, Britt and my two boys literally grew up together making me his "adoptive" Mom. I must tell you I couldn't be more proud of him if he were my own blood. Zach is also a Missouri Highway Patrolman and an upstanding citizen. We are so very proud to know him.
Let me tell you a little about military service. It's extremely hard on the servicemen and women as well as families. Those left behind worry about their family members constantly. They live for skypeing, emails and for packages to and from their loved ones.
Which now leads me to invite you to help those overseas with "Shoebox for Soldiers". It's a great way to say "Thank You" to those who are keeping us safe, and for protecting our freedom.
Those kids overseas are our friends, our brothers, sisters, daughters, sons, nephews, nieces, mom's, dad's, and our protectors.
Let's not forget them, lets do something for them. Pick up a U.S. Postal shipping box and fill it with stuff you would love to receive. Books, CD's, movies, snacks, candy, personal hygiene items like razors, shaving cream, even socks and a letter on how thankful you are of their service. Take your box along with $14 dollars to area Family Pharmacies. Those boxes will then be shipped of to our "family" members serving overseas.
Do it for your sons, daughters, friends, family and for Zach who has served us well.
Welcome Home Zach we love you!!!!!
