Its Cat Week- at least Ellen is celebrating Cats this week on her show. I happened to see the show about cats yesterday and it made me start to remember my childhood and my family cat.
In all honesty....I am not a cat lover. I grew up with dogs and I have had only one cat, "Pumpkin" in all of my years.
"Pumpkin" is probably the reason I am NOT a cat lover to this day. Pumpkin was a " sprayer". He particularly loved my things. Shoes, books, purses and ..... my cheer leading pom poms! Those items had such a bad aroma that I had to throw most away. However the pom poms I had to keep. I tried to swap them with the other girls- I would even go as far as to throw them in a pile hopefully someone would pick up mine instead of theirs but that didn't work- the smell was a give-away.....
Why am I regressing back to my childhood????- I think its because I saw this picture of this angry cat- which made me laugh this morning and made me start remembering about my "smelly cat".
Here's to Cats!!!!! May they never find a home with me!
