Wow- check out this video of Lake of the Ozarks over Labor Day weekend! This video hit National News this week. The boating accident was caught on tape and the waves the boat hit were mind boggling!
The boat finally slowed down when the Captain of the boat was knocked down! 5 people were taken to area hospitals after the wave crash...
I can personally say that when I have been on the Lake of the Ozarks- the waves were horrible. Impossible to ski and unless you were in a cove- you couldn't even think about swimming. This is a prime example why you should wear a life jacket while boating.
