WEEKEND UPDATE for June 1-3 2012
FRIDAY
5th Annual First Friday Pet Stroll on Historic C-Street. 6-9 pm. Pets are welcome while you shop. A wading pool for the dogs, and pet photos available.
First Friday Art Walk- a self-guided tour downtown from 6-10. Features art, live music and hands on activities at several venues and exhibits. It’s FREE
Springfield Public Outdoor Pools….times vary between pools- call the Aquatic hotline at 417 864-2099 for time and admission prices…….
Teen Friday Night at the Library Station 6-8 pm 2535 N. Kansas Expressway stop by for games, crafts and special events... It’s FREE
White Water is open thru Sept 3rd.  Join Bobby and Summer from 10-Noon Saturday.
SATURDAY
C-Street Farmers market 8 am to 4pm every Saturday Commercial at Jefferson. And Farmers Market of the Ozarks 7:30 to 1pm near the Nature center.
Kids Fishing Fun day at the Bass Pro Shops Sportsman Park on Kearney Street…. Free for ages 3-12 2 separate fishing times.   8:30 to 10 and 10 to 11:30. 864-1049
Chadwick Railroad Day is 10 to 4pm…. A parade at 9:45 kicks off the fun… Enjoy, a pig roast, silent auction, turtle races, snake hunt, jump rope contest water games and more…634-3734
Ray House Jamboree- Bluegrass & old time music festival on the front lawn of the Ray house @ Wilson Creek National Battlefield 11am to 4pm. Park Entrance Fees
SUNDAY The 6th annual Shakespeare Festival Presents “Hamlet” at 8:15 June 3-5 and June 9-12 at Jordan Valley Park… The event is FREE 831-5233
