I had a blast yesterday at Habitat for Humanity! What a worth-the-effort-cause! As I was painting yesterday (and yes, I did paint 3 coats, one on the wall, myself and the floor!) I was thinking- how exciting it was for a family to have their very own home. A home that volunteers helped to build- just out of the goodness of their heart. When I starting going to the building site each Tuesday- I knew I would feel great about helping someone else, but I under-estimated the friendships that we were building too.
IF YOU have the opportunity to donate some time- consider Habitat for Humanity- even though the project we are helping out with (6 homes before June) will be coming to an end soon- there are other homes for you to build. Its a great way to give back to the community plus meet some new friends!

PS- Check out the glasses- a little paint on on the lens because my future is so bright!!! LOL
