and that doesn't happen even on a Sunday afternoon!
Thanks... pardon the pun... to good weather and a smaller crowd this year, I got to sit down to eat my Thanksgiving dinner! I can't remember the last time that happened... usually, you either stand up or wait till somebody vacates a seat to eat at the Clark family dinners... and that means any given Sunday, too!
Yesterday, we had a total of 22 people at my brother's house for Thanksgiving... that meant I only had to make three dozen homemade rolls... that was nice! Anyway, because he also has added a nice new, much larger deck to his house and the weather was warm, we had enough seating for everyone to sit down to dinner! That's what I call a Thanksgiving miracle!
Oh, and the food was divine, as always! I was, of course, miserable after eating, but the flavor was so worth it... and today I actually have a few leftovers for my lunch... another Thanksgiving miracle that doesn't happen every year! Geez... I have plenty to be thankful for.
