  • SNL Does Brad Paisley

Last week, Brad Paisley released his latest album, "Wheelhouse". On that album, is a song with rapper/actor LL Cool J. I heard it and thought it was pretty ridiculous. A lot of people shared my opinion. It's called "Accidental Racist" and the 2 artists have got a lot of flack for the song. So, of course, Saturday Night Live had to have some fun with it. Personally, I think this is pretty hilarious.

  • What a Dierks Bentley Concert Means to Me...

Dierks Bentley will be in Springfield tomorrow night and when I get a chance to see him live in concert, it's not just a concert to me. It's more than that. It's a memory that I'll always cherish....

  • ACM Awards.... Awards!!!

Like a lot of people did, I spent my Sunday night watching the ACM Awards. I enjoyed them for the most part. I thought Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan did a pretty good job hosting the show, I liked most of the performances and I thought most of the awards winners were deserving. I always enjoy the ACMs and this was no different.

  • See Ya Later, Old Friend

They say you never know what you have, until it's gone. That couldn't be more true for what I'm going through this week. It's been 4 days, but has seemed like a month...

  • My ACM Award Predictions

I love country music award shows and the ACMs are no different. They're coming up this Sunday night on CBS and I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to the performances, especially from Garth Brooks & George Strait, but it's really about who wins what. So, here are my predictions of the winners (my pick in bold):

  • My New Favorite Commercials

Like a lot of people, I've been watching a lot of basketball lately. Usually, I flip channels during commercials. Not this year. AT&T has flat rocked it with these commercials with kids. I seriously laugh harder every time I see them. I've been raving about them for a while and don't plan to stop anytime soon. As it turns out, kids make things awesome. I desperately want the raw footage of these commercials, just to see what else these kids have said. I can't wait for new ones, but here are a couple of my favorites so far:

  • Blake Shelton + Luke Bryan = Bluke? (video)

I always get excited for the ACMs, but I'm even more excited this year, thanks to the co-hosts. We all know Blake Shelton is funny, but as it turns out, Luke Bryan is pretty humorous as well. The video below shows us a little bit of what we can expect at the ACMs on April 7th.

  • Jason Aldean's Brand New Star-Studded Video

Jason Aldean's latest single is a fun song, but not as fun as the video. You get to see Jason Aldean, of course, but he also has a bunch of country music friends stop by the help....

  • My Experience on Silver Dollar City's Outlaw Run

  • St. Jude Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon - I NEED YOU!!!

It's getting close. The St. Jude Country Music Marathon is less than 2 months away. I signed up for this thing a couple of months ago and I'm gonna be honest with you: I'm in worse shape now than I was then. I run some, but I drink A LOT of sweet tea and eat a lot of junk. It's sad, really. Anyway, the reason I tell you that, is to give you confidence to run it with me. I mean, I'll probably end up walking or crawling by the end, but I'm still doing this half-marathon.

  • St. Jude Radiothon - Round 2

It's time again. The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radiothon continues tomorrow and Friday. I say "continues", because it got postponed due to weather a couple weeks ago. The good news is that the weather is suppose to be perfect the next 2 days. So, it's go time. This is your chance to help support something that means a ton to millions of people, myself included. We raised over $100,000 last year and I know we can do it again this year. We're gonna cry and have a lot of fun these next couple of days, so just to get you ready, check this out:

  • New Luke Bryan Video

Ladies like Luke Bryan. I get it. So, I thought the ladies might enjoy seeing his new video. This song is on his latest spring break album. I'm not sure if he's planning on releasing it to radio or not, but we shall see. I'm sure you've already started watching the video by now, so I'll quit typing.

  • Snow Day Idea!!!

I used to love snow days as a kid. I still would if it meant I got to miss work because of it. But, as it turns out, that's not how it works. That's especially disappointing today, because this snow is fantastic for packing. It would be perfect for sledding, building snowmen and hitting Jay Cross with. I still plan on doing that at some point today.

  • Zac Brown Band Crew Does the 'Harlem Shake'

I couldn't be more confused with this fad that they call the 'Harlem Shake'. I thought it was the name of a dance, but I swear they're doing something different in every video I've seen of it. So, I guess I'll stay confused, BUT I do appreciate hard work and production value. That's why I'm OK with this video.

  • Replacement Needed!!!

I'd be lying to you if I said I was looking forward to May 17th. You see, May 16th is the series finale of "The Office". Therefore, there will be no more new episodes from then on. I'm not a fan of that. Not at all.

  • 2013 ACM Nominees

  • The Grammy Awards - My Country Music Breakdown

I'll admit that I didn't actually plan to watch The Grammy Awards last night. To be honest, I took a late afternoon nap and didn't wake up until they had already started. I had nothing else going on, so I figured I'd watch to see what non-country music I'm missing out on (not much) & to see what country stars won their own Grammy.

  • Sophia Grace & Rosie Cover Taylor Swift

Cute kid videos are fun to watch. So are things involving Taylor Swift. So, when cute kids cover a Taylor Swift song, that rocks. Sophia Grace & Rosie, who have been on 'Ellen' several times, were on there again a few days ago covering Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble". I realize that we don't play that song on country radio, but it's still a catchy song. Even if you're a Taylor Swift hater, you should enjoy this...

  • 'American Idol' Liar

What a disappointment. I mean, out of all the 'American Idol' audition episodes, I teared up at least once per episode. One of the times that I teared up was during Matt Farmer's audition. He was supposedly a wounded war veteran who defied odds by having a kid... Actually, just watch his audition:

  • St. Jude Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon

OK, I'm in.... I hate to run, but I'm in. I'm going to run the St. Jude Country Music Half Marathon on April 28th in Nashville. It scares me when I write it out like that, but I've already committed to it, so I'm in. Although, it's not like other marathons, so it shouldn't be bad. Sure, if you really wanted to, you could make it competitive. I don't intend to do that.
