  • A Weekend Full of Live Music!!!

I love live music. I like live music much more than I like recorded music. I try to go to as many concerts as possible, whether I'm working them or not. Luckily, I should be seeing 3 different shows in 3 nights.

  • A Little Inspiration to Make You (Me) Cry...

I'm a big baby. I'll admit it. I know it, so I'm not sure why I put myself in certain situations sometimes. For example, I saw the video below posted on Facebook tonight with phrases like "I cried so much" on it. So, I knew I'd be doing the same thing. This is such an inspirational story. I held it together pretty well, until I hit the 13:20 mark in the video. I know it's a long video, but it's worth it. Watch it and good luck.

  • 'The Bachelor'.... Baby Style (Video)

For some reason, I find it hilarious when any kid is portrayed as an adult. It cracks me up. This idea and video couldn't be better. Kids rock.

  • Saying 'Goodbye' to 'The Office'

  • Thomas Rhett's Wedding Video

I know a lot of people are just as excited as me to see Thomas Rhett at Midnight Rodeo in June. I also know that I'm not as disappointed at the fact that he's married as a lot of girls are. Actually, I have no opinion on it at all. But, I do love a good love story. That's exactly what this video shows. Thomas and his wife, Lauren got married last October. Here's what happened... (Also, don't ask me how I came across this video.)

  • 2013 CMT Music Award Nominees

  • Luke Bryan Sings With Peyton Manning

Let's just be honest... Peyton Manning is a better football player than he is a singer. If you happened to be listening to KTTS last night, you might have heard me play a clip of this video. Luke Bryan & Peyton Manning were helping to raise money for charity in Indianapolis and decided it would be a good idea to sing some old country songs. Manning might not be good, but the video does include Luke Bryan, so you might as well check it out.

  • My Unbelievable Trip to Nashville

I did it. I can't believe it, but I did it. I ran a half marathon. I mean, I actually ran it. I didn't walk or crawl, like I thought I was going to have to. I ran. But, this past weekend was way more than that. Allow me to share parts of my weekend with you:

  • 2013 Billboard Music Award Nominees - Country Version

It might not be fair, but I couldn't care less about non-country music. I don't hate it or anything, I just don't go out of my way to listen to it. Therefore, I don't care who wins awards for that type of music. The 2013 Billboard Music Award Nominees have been released and below are the country categories. If you're wanting to know the other categories, click here! The awards are May 19th.

  • I Love This Country

Wow. What a week. What a horrible week. It's like I've just been waiting for another bad thing to happen this week.

  • SNL Does Brad Paisley

Last week, Brad Paisley released his latest album, "Wheelhouse". On that album, is a song with rapper/actor LL Cool J. I heard it and thought it was pretty ridiculous. A lot of people shared my opinion. It's called "Accidental Racist" and the 2 artists have got a lot of flack for the song. So, of course, Saturday Night Live had to have some fun with it. Personally, I think this is pretty hilarious.

  • What a Dierks Bentley Concert Means to Me...

Dierks Bentley will be in Springfield tomorrow night and when I get a chance to see him live in concert, it's not just a concert to me. It's more than that. It's a memory that I'll always cherish....

  • ACM Awards.... Awards!!!

Like a lot of people did, I spent my Sunday night watching the ACM Awards. I enjoyed them for the most part. I thought Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan did a pretty good job hosting the show, I liked most of the performances and I thought most of the awards winners were deserving. I always enjoy the ACMs and this was no different.

  • See Ya Later, Old Friend

They say you never know what you have, until it's gone. That couldn't be more true for what I'm going through this week. It's been 4 days, but has seemed like a month...

  • My ACM Award Predictions

I love country music award shows and the ACMs are no different. They're coming up this Sunday night on CBS and I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to the performances, especially from Garth Brooks & George Strait, but it's really about who wins what. So, here are my predictions of the winners (my pick in bold):

  • My New Favorite Commercials

Like a lot of people, I've been watching a lot of basketball lately. Usually, I flip channels during commercials. Not this year. AT&T has flat rocked it with these commercials with kids. I seriously laugh harder every time I see them. I've been raving about them for a while and don't plan to stop anytime soon. As it turns out, kids make things awesome. I desperately want the raw footage of these commercials, just to see what else these kids have said. I can't wait for new ones, but here are a couple of my favorites so far:

  • Blake Shelton + Luke Bryan = Bluke? (video)

I always get excited for the ACMs, but I'm even more excited this year, thanks to the co-hosts. We all know Blake Shelton is funny, but as it turns out, Luke Bryan is pretty humorous as well. The video below shows us a little bit of what we can expect at the ACMs on April 7th.

  • Jason Aldean's Brand New Star-Studded Video

Jason Aldean's latest single is a fun song, but not as fun as the video. You get to see Jason Aldean, of course, but he also has a bunch of country music friends stop by the help....

  • My Experience on Silver Dollar City's Outlaw Run

  • St. Jude Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon - I NEED YOU!!!

It's getting close. The St. Jude Country Music Marathon is less than 2 months away. I signed up for this thing a couple of months ago and I'm gonna be honest with you: I'm in worse shape now than I was then. I run some, but I drink A LOT of sweet tea and eat a lot of junk. It's sad, really. Anyway, the reason I tell you that, is to give you confidence to run it with me. I mean, I'll probably end up walking or crawling by the end, but I'm still doing this half-marathon.
