  • Grammy Nominations- The Ones Country Fans Care About

I usually couldn't care less about award shows that aren't strictly for country music, but of course, country artists do get some love in the Grammy's. So here's the categories I (and hopefully you) care about:

  • Pujols Breaks the Hearts of Many.... Including Mine

I went to bed last night with the assumption that Albert Pujols would be a St. Louis Cardinal by the end of the day today. I woke up to several text messages from "friends" telling me that Pujols had agreed to a deal with the Angels.... Some friends they are, giving me this news. Every indication that I had heard up to this point was that he would remain a St. Louis Cardinal for the rest of his career, which made this even more surprising and hurtful.

  • 10 Worst Christmas Movies from fandango.com

The only ones I really disagree with are numbers 6 and 3... I love both of those movies. Stop judging me for that. What's your least favorite Christmas movie?

  • My Boring New Years Resolutions

Let me begin by saying that I think New Years resolutions are highly overrated. I mean, why can't people decide to (insert resolution here) in the middle of the year? I guess it's because a lot of us think of our resolutions around October. And, of course, we as a society like to procrastinate on everything, so January 1 just seems like a good time to start these resolutions.

  • My Trip to St. Jude

When I found out that I was going to get the opportunity to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, I was completely excited. I had heard so much about what a great place it was and couldn't wait to check it out in person.

  • The Play of the Year at the Blue & Gold

Kameron Bundy from Nixa, my alma mater, might have had the play of the year yesterday at the Blue & Gold Basketball Tournament. This is one of the many reasons I love this tournament and high school sports in general. Enjoy.

  • "Country Strong"- My Review (A Little Late)

OK, I'm well aware that "Country Strong" came out a long time ago, but I finally watched it this past weekend. Given my job and my interests in life (country music), it's pretty sad that it took me this long to see it. But, I did, and I liked a lot of it. The following is my review of what I liked and didn't like about a few of the characters in the movie:
