  • The End Of An Era???

If you don't know me, this might be the most ridiculous blog post I've had to date. It's about a hat. Gosh, that sounds lame when I read it out loud, but nonetheless, I'm sticking to it.

  • The Ozarks: The Most Entertaining Place On Earth

The Ozarks.... What can you say? The Ozarks are awesome. I've lived here all of my life and I can't get enough of it. I've heard some people complain about it being boring, but I'm here to tell you, if you look hard enough, there's never a dull moment.

  • My Top 5 Non-Comedy Movies

I say this all the time, but I love lists. I also love comedy movies. It would be almost impossible for me to rank my favorite comedy movies, so I've decided to rank my top 5 non-comedy movies. I'm so indecisive, these might not actually be right. These are just the top 5 I can think of off the top of my head. I always have to preface lists with that due to my horrible memory. You might notice, I reference performances from actors a lot. That's a huge part of what makes a good movie for me. I blame the former theater kid inside of me for that. So, here it is, my top 5 non-comedy movies with #1 being my absolute favorite:

  • Taylor Swift's Big Announcement

My girl, Taylor Swift teased her fans on her Facebook yesterday. Apparently, she has a big announcement.... Here's what she had to say:

  • R.I.P. Andy Griffith- My Tribute

Since I'm only 23 years old, you might not expect me to love a show from the 1960's like "The Andy Griffith Show." You'd be wrong. It's my dad's favorite show and since I was pretty much forced to watch it as a kid, I started liking it. I can't say for sure, but I'd be willing to bet that I've seen every episode. Although, once Barney Fife leaves, they're kinda pointless. I think post-Barney episodes would have been fine if we wouldn't have had Barney in the first place. If that makes sense.... I think we just got spoiled with Barney and Warren didn't have a shot to match him.

  • Top 10 Sexiest Women of Country- My Version

GAC released a list of the "top 10 sexiest women of country" last week and I had a blog about it. I was fine with everyone on the list, but I wasn't OK with the order they were in. So, I decided to put them in an order of my own. Obviously, Taylor Swift would be on my list, but she wasn't included on the original, so I'll leave her off as well (it's under protest). I'm just re-ordering their list.

  • Top 10 Sexiest Women of Country

As a guy, who likes pretty women, I'll admit that every single country artist on this list is attractive. I do, however, disagree with the order. Number 8 should be number 1, no question. I'm sure Julianne Hough isn't getting the respect she deserves just because she's not as well known as the others. That's fine. That just means my competition for her love won't be as good (even if she is dating Ryan Seacrest). Also, no Taylor Swift??? Get real.

  • US Open: Pranksters Welcome

I'm not a huge golf fan. I watch and play it some and like it alright. I'm just not crazy about it. What I am crazy about: clever, well thought out, hilarious pranks.

  • Top 10 Celebrity Dads With The Best Dance Moves

I've been known to bust a move or 2 in my day... When I was about 7. I once got grounded by my parents for dancing in the middle of the basketball court at halftime of a Nixa High School basketball game. True story. Anyway, in honor of Father's Day, Zumba has come up with the best dancing dads (I think I'd make the list if I had a kid).

  • CMT Music Awards: What My Twitter Feed Would Have Looked Like

I was working while the CMT Music Awards were on TV last night. So, I had to record them on my DVR and watch them today. I usually tweet about these shows, but since it was a day late when I watched it, I figured I'd spare your Twitter & Facebook feeds and just do it like this. Below, you can see what my Twitter feed would have looked like if I would have done the usual (insert "#CMTAwards" with each tweet).

  • My CMT Music Awards Predictions

I always have to preface these predictions with this: I feel like I know a lot about country music, but for some reason, I don't always do so hot on these predictions. Maybe it's because, the people who vote don't know as much as me? Yeah, that's gotta be it. Although, the last set of predictions I did, I think I got about 75% right. Also, I don't watch a ton of music videos (unless it involves Taylor Swift, of course) so, there's no telling what's gonna happen this time. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

  • And My American Idol Prediction Is....

I haven't watched "American Idol" as much this year as I have in past years. But, I've watched it enough to make a prediction on who will be crowned as the next 'American Idol' tonight. My prediction, in a land slide is....

  • Early Canidate for Album of the Year

OK, so there have been 2 albums within the last year that I have raved about: Eric Church's "Chief" and Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night." Well, we can safely add another album to my obsession: Lee Brice's "Hard 2 Love."

  • Party on 'X-Factor'?

I really like singing competition shows. I've watched 'American Idol' from the beginning and since then, I've given 'X-Factor' and 'The Voice' a chance. I like them both, but not as much as 'American Idol.' The biggest reason for this? It's gotta be the host. Ryan Seacrest is the man. Like him or not, he is the best host of the mentioned shows, period.

  • Taylor Swift as Sandra D???

I realize that a majority of my blog posts are about Taylor Swift, but look at her.... Can you blame me? Anyway, the latest rumor is that Olivia Newton John says Taylor should play Sandra D in the remake of 'Grease,' if it is in fact re-made. I have many mixed emotions about this. I love Taylor and the original 'Grease', but I don't know how I feel about all of these remakes of classics. Hollywood re-made 'Footloose', which I love, and I still haven't seen that. And Julianne Hough is in that. Side note: I love Julianne Hough. But, if 'Grease' is remade and Taylor plays the leading lady, I just assume I'm going to be asked to play Danny Zuko, her love interest. While I ponder these thoughts, what do I do? I watch one of my favorite scenes from the movie and one of my favorite videos from Taylor.

  • Reporter Acts The Same Way To David Freese As I Would To Taylor Swift

I'm a huge Cardinals fan and a huge fan of watching awkward situations unfold. Cardinal 3rd baseman David Freese gets hit on by a reporter for 3 minutes. And yes, this is a real interview, that played on a local news station in St. Louis..... Somehow. Ridiculous.

  • 2012 CMT Music Awards Nominees

  • Warrior Dash - Complete

I've always been pretty ridiculous, so when I saw the video for the Warrior Dash, it looked ridiculous enough to peak my interest. My brothers and I decided in February that we wanted to compete in the race and as of yesterday, in North Texas, we completed our first ever Warrior Dash! Warrior Dash, in short, is about a 3 mile race that involves crawling through mud, climbing over walls, jumping over fires and more. Yeah, like a said, ridiculous. Although training for the event should be a top priority, I put more emphasis on my costume (pictured below). Yes, people dress up in ridiculous costumes to run the race, so of course, I had to jump on that. America!!! If what I have written makes you have some interest in this race, you really should check it out. They do great work with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and it's a ton of fun!

  • You Just Can't Hide From Allergies

Stay inside to avoid having allergy attacks, you say? The following would beg to differ. They're everywhere.
